Megan Olson

Overview

Megan Olson's work is a combination of surrealism, and organic abstraction - part graffiti, part calligraphy - it has been called everything from "both highly abstract and persuasively realist", to “ch'i in motion” and “controlled expressionism”.

Unity is a very important theme in Megan’s work. Creating harmony from conflicting ideas such as graffiti and nature, Megan’s work is an attempt to bring together the things that keep people separated and thinking we are different, when really we all have the same goals of wanting to be happy and to be free from suffering.

Why our Creative Director, Melanie Lalande selected Megan's work: "Her work is like a heart or a neuro network... it is beautiful and full of pathways my eye wants to follow."
