Daniel Berger, was born "en caul" in 1958, a rare birth that occurs in only 1 out of 80,000 births. Shortly thereafter, his lungs collapsed - thus gaining the attention of the nurses and scaring the hell out of his parents. He wrote his first book at age 5, "The Fire Dog." Although unpublished, thus began a lifelong fascination with the written word. Passionate yet introverted, he has cut a wide swath across many worlds, loving to learn and learning to love. His debut blog "Escaping the Amniotic Sac" will premiere in February 2021.
Why our Creative Director, Melanie Lalande selected Dan's work: "Everything about how this Eulogy is written is clever and unfolding… the notion of being greedy in death… so delicious… if not then… when? I love this viewpoint!"
